Welcome!

Greetings to All,

Welcome to the official website of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., a professional organization of women in the field of education.  Our members are dedicated teachers and career educators who have expanded their careers beyond the classrooms in support of programs for youth, educational development, community involvement and sisterhood activities.  Currently, members of this prestigious organization are teachers representing all levels of education from Pre-School, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, College and Graduate Professors, Principals, Educational Administrators, Instructional Specialists and Special Service Professionals.

The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. is as vibrant and relevant as in the founding year, 1923. The organization is 95 years old, with over 5,000 members and affiliates in more than one hundred chapters across the country. Encouraging, stimulating, guiding, mentoring, and instilling confidence in students on their journey to adulthood were tenants of the founders.  These, along with the focus on education and service continue to underscore the primary goals.

NSPDK is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the highest quality of academic learning and promoting the teaching career as an honorable profession. Mentoring programs for high school girls and boys,  scholarships for high school graduates majoring in Teacher Education, doctoral scholarships for teacher advancement, financial contributions for Sickle Cell Research at Meharry Medical College and the Maternal Waiting Home in Zambia, Africa  are but a few of the major programs supported each year

I am overjoyed that you decided to visit this website and I welcome your interest in the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.  As you peruse the various links I hope you will gain meaningful and insightful information that will prompt you to pass it on.
